Year 6 Participate in MK Arts Centre project

‘Do Good Because of Tomorrow’. A group of our current Year 6’s recently took part in an art project focusing on powerful parables. They collaborated with artist Yinka Ilora and the MK Arts Centre to explore the meanings of chosen parables. Over a period of several weeks, they “upcycled” chairs to relay the message in a creative way. The chairs were then exhibited at the MK Art Centre in Great Linford, to celebrate the children’s achievements. The chairs have now been returned to St. Monica’s for display around the school. A huge “well done” to Justin, Angelina, Varscha, Tiongi and Petra.
