Harvest Day

Harvest Day at St Monica’s was a very bright day! The children (and staff) came to school dressed up in every colour of the rainbow and donated to the Food Bank. We were able to fill 22 crates of food – thank you to everyone who donated. We gathered together as a school for a Harvest assembly which was full of big smiles and great singing. In the afternoon, Year 5 and 6 children ran their own stalls to raise money for CAFOD. Children from Years 1-4 enjoyed visiting a wide range of stalls including ‘guess the name of the teddy’, ‘hook a duck’ and ‘spin to win’. A huge well done and thank you to all the children who ran stalls.
