Mission Statement In Action Award

The St. Monica’s ‘Mission Statement in Action Award’ seeks out children who are living the words of our mission statement, specifically with acts of love or kindness. This helps us all to embrace and witness our mission as Christians of loving one another as Jesus did.

Each key stage has a range of actions that need to be completed under the three strands of our mission statement. These are actions that show trust, respect and love and are completed over time. Once all of the actions in each strand of our mission statement are complete, the children can earn their award. A Bronze award is earned in Nursery and Reception, a Silver award in Key Stage 1, a Gold award in Lower Key Stage 2 and a Platinum award in Upper Key Stage 2.
