PE and Sports Premium

What is the Sports Premium?

The Government has provided funding to schools to achieve self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and sport in primary schools.

The vision is for all pupils to leave primary school physically literate with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy, active lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.

Each school received £8000 plus an extra £5 per pupil which means we at St Monica’s receive in the region of £9700 per year.

The documents opposite shows how we spent the money in the previous year and how we are spending the money during 2017/18
